Max Scherzer scares me. The guy is a psychopath in the best sports way. Last night, he beat the fan who was supposed to throw out the first pitch at the Mets game to the mound and wouldn't let him throw. Ha! Sorry for partying, brah...

A true to life human douche. I'll bet he felt like a real tough guy after shooing off one of the team's fans.

I would have walked right in front of him and chucked my own pitch.

His actions were a giant insult to the Japanese ambassador. He was incredibly socially unaware.

Shitty attitude from a pitcher who will be totally forgotten in a couple of seasons.

He does go legit crazy on days he pitches. Not a Mets fan but love Scherzer. Absolute unit. And honestly, by the way dude ran off, he wasn’t going to throw a decent first pitch anyway.

It was the Japanese ambassador to the U.S. who got embarrassed as a result. On Japanese Heritage Night. The baseball gods rewarded the Mets with a loss. Sherzer is only worried about himself. Negotiations during lockout showed that when the rest of the league outvoted him and the other seven rich guys on the executive committee in an unprecedented move.
