I don't give a shite about the NFL...what the LSU Tigers are doing right now matters to me.

I love his videos while the same time find it very disheartening that we have to rely on our alumni highlights to get excited about LSU football

Not sure that Fournette calls the offensive plays and if he did, I'm sure he'd planned for more than 4 run plays.

You guys are too much, what is currently happening with a young team. Has absolutely nothing to do with how well our former players are doing in the NFL. Enjoy the notoriety that these guys bring LSU every week and realize this has a great influence on recruiting. Keep these videos coming.

What infuences recruiting is consistancy of the LSU football program. The extreme drop will have a much larger influence than what someone does on Sundays in a different uniform.

Yea man for sure. all these kids growing up in New Orleans, none of them look to Leonard Fournette or Tyrann Mathieu and think wow I want to do that. How many 8-9 year olds are running around pretending to be Joe Burrow right now? Playing in the same place, as the same number etc as someone you grew up watching/idolizing is a very real desire.

Exactly! These kids aren’t dumb. We just won a National Championship with a whole bunch of no bodies on offense and a solid but not great defense. Covid19 hit LSU harder than any other school. We don’t know if some of those players will come back next year and add to the experience these young guys are getting this year. It’s a tough year, no doubt but it’s also one of the strangest years I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime. It doesn’t seem to be affecting kids this year and LSU is already off to a great start recruiting next years class. This is LSU. We will NOT be down long and I think 90% of the kids out there are very aware of that fact. We’ve played well in spurts this year, they just don’t know who they are yet or what they’re capable of. With a normal offseason and the growing pains they will receive, this will be a different team next year. I think Pelini has been doing this long enough to know where mistakes were made and what they can do to fix those on defense. Even if LSU has to pull back and only recruit Louisiana and Texas we’ll be just fine. That’s not going to happen so people need to chill and act like we just had the greatest season in our history. This won’t be Auburn. Everything fell against us this year. We’ll bounce back. The team will be hungry and work their tails off this offseason. It’s a great lesson for everyone.
