Multiple sources are reporting that Harvard offensive lineman graduate transfer Liam Shanahan has committed to LSU.

The 6-5, 270 lineman from Marlborough, Mass, played in every game for Harvard over the last two seasons and was an All-Ivy League First-team selection in 2019.

Shanahan played both guard and tackle at Harvard and will count towards LSU's 2020 recruiting class.

“11 LSU players from the 2019 national championship team that were either drafted or signed free agent contracts are heading to the NFL with a college degree.” This further adds to the impressiveness of the LSU organization. Now, you have a stud Harvard graduate wanting to be a part of the LSU mix. What a great culture CEO has created!

Anyone trying to bang on this transfer should seriously take a look at all of CEO’ s non Burrow transfers and then STFU.rhey have all been major contributors.

I’ll would take 275lbs of all man, brains, coachability and work ethics over 325lbs of potentials, every time and win all the time! Notre Dame and Stanford have been great academic/athletic models. Kudos for Coach “O” keeping and upping the standards!

You do realize that Vanderbilt is one of those prestigious university known for their great academics. The ACC have several schools that match the Norte Dame and Stanford accolades you mentioned.

@bengal. Moss. Tracy. Lewis. Fehoko. Traore. And.... Burrow. Do you really want to question CEO’s transfer success.

Harvard graduate transfer - so he's smart. I like that. If I'm not mistaken, that's a Harvard graduate ahead of Tua on the Dolphin depth chart. Or maybe they just listed their players in descending Wonderlic score order.

Oh, how different life in Red Stick will be versus Harvard, but to have a 1 year shot at the NFL, priceless.

Man all this negativity! The kid haven't step foot on campus yet and you guys are so negative towards him, lets just give him a chance to at lest practice before you dump on him who knows he might turn out to be real solid. All I know is I believe in the decisions made by our 2019 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS LSU Tigers.
