UPDATE: JaMarr Chase will be wearing No. 7 for the Tigers this upcoming season.

With Spring Practice starting this week, current and new LSU players will usher in the season with new numbers when they hit the practice fields on Friday.

One of those numbers will be No. 7, which Grant Delpit wore last year during LSU's Championship run.

With Delpit off to the NFL Draft, a new No. 7 will likely be revealed soon...

Who do you think will be the new No. 7?

We would imagine the No. 18 jersey will be announced soon as well.

Where is Giles? Factually, he deserves to be mentioned.

I still think 7 should be given to incoming freshmen. However, since TM7 got it his 2nd year I think Stingley would be a good choice. The longer they wear #7 the better

Nah, that has to be earned unless you're just a freak like Fournette. We tried that shite before with a guy that was supposedly going to be elite.

Ja’ Marr Chase, the Biletnikoff winner, should don #7. Stingley should get it afterwards.

Stingley will keep his number. Why wear someone’s else number when you can make your own legacy. He will go down as the greatest to ever wear a LSU uniform.

Stevens should get #7 and I am cheering for Shelvin to get #18 he has came so far and is a perfect example of the type of leader that 18 stands for.

Jacoby is 100% destined to be #18 this year. I also believe at LB, he'll play his way into the first round.
