Maybe didn't quite break parallel, but he otherwise hit it, and it moved smoothly. Didn't drop his chest, had a little left in the tank. Good football lift.

Barbell, quite right you are my man. I missed that on the first pass, caught it later, but no need to correct by then. Maybe one of three lights from the judges on the lift. For just a kid with NFL aspirations though, solid.

The whip on that bar hurt me from here. Get some squat bars for these boys.

Stridex (Strannix), Bed Wetter(Red Racket), why don't you enlighten the rest of us panty waste how many plates you've squated, bench pressed, deadlifted, shrugged, military pressed, leg curled, etc. in your illustrious weightlifting career. And in case you want to know, I'll be glad to provide date, time, and poundage of my lifts when I was in my twenties. The kid is just on the up-curve of his test. production, and if he's natural, he's way ahead of probably anything you've ever dreamed of lifting. Decent form, back straight, past PARRALLEL, and racked with ease. He could do a lot more. And before you shoot your mouth off, I've spotted Rob Ricksteiner squatting until blood spurted out of his nose (real name of the wrestler called Rick Steiner), watched Jim Helwig (Ultimate Warrior) work out many times with Steve Borden (Sting) when they first arrived to MidSouth Wrestling in Pineville,LA when they were green but the biggest and strongest human beings I've ever seen in my life, all in a little hole in the wall Gym called Rick's (Rick Ferrara, who himself was Igor Putsky). Add to that Jim Duggan, Ted Dibiasi, Terry Taylor, Eddie Gilbert etc. So before you castigate a young baller trying to get big through sheer sweat and guts, unless you can put up, then shut up!

Dont listen to these negative people kid.. great work and keep getting stronger. You'll need all the strength you can gain to push around the best D-Lines in college football. You can do it. GEAUX TIGERS

Not very impressive. kids are expected to at least be able to get up 500 when they arrive at a D1 program. A lineman should be getting up a lot more that this. Hurts get get up 650

Mildly impressive. I squatted 550 as a sophomore. In high school.

That's not a squat

Bad form he quit on it halfway down, that's nothing for a guy his size, not a good lift.

Dom Cizaukas at Fort Scott Community College a Player that was suppose to play for Dave Aranda (Wisconsin) but got into trouble with his ex-girlfriend his senior year...He is JUCO player just benched over 400lbs and squats over 600lbs....Look at his stats as a Freshmen Inside Linebacker...LSU should give this kid a chance in 2018...He played HS Football and Basketball where I live in Wisconsin and yes an LSU Grad...That kid is unreal....His Football Stats this past season are truly unreal...

I have met people in the Midwest that can bench press 500 lbs. maxing out, so squatting 550 isn't that impressive. It's not that uncommon to see people his size max out on the squat at 8-900 lbs., and the world record is 1,260 lbs.

Wow. Those stats are amazing. You should be proud of yourself for bringing that to the table. Really. Amazing. Congrats to the midwest and the world record holder.

That's impressive. My opinion of Grimes has changed with the caliber of recruits he's been bringing in. No surprise with Moffit. He's been whipping em in shape for years. The shorter practices O will continue to implement will pay dividends down the stretch. Nice job Garrett!

Can one of you experts explain to me how that's 550? Are the bumper plates in kg?
