Honestly, I agree. The organization just doesn't give a shite. Bad facilities, no urgency to improve, bad at drafting and free agency, etc. They just want NFL TV and merchandise money as they continue to make millions and see their asset increase in value without doing anything to support it to win. Unfortunate he will have to go be a part of that. Maybe he can challenge the ownership in the public sphere to commit to winning and helping him turn it around. Put some pressure on him.

They don’t even have a true football operations center with an indoor and everything is done out of the basement of that piece of shite stadium. It’s a joke of a franchise

A QB cannot and will not turn a franchise around. It all starts from the top of the chain in the office. Have to get the correct people in the organization. A QB will generate attitude on the field, but to turn a franchise around is not going to happen.

I don't know about that. It's not all him but Jimmy Garrapolo has turned the 49ers around. With help of course but it all starts with the QB.

Jimmy G hasn’t done a damn thing to turn the 49ers around. His job is to not throw picks, and only 2 qbs this year that have more games with a pick. Lynch and KS have turned the 49ers around. With great defense and the run game.

I agree to an extent, the Bengals have made the playoffs quite a bit when they got decent QB play though. I could see some decent free agency moves that shore up the D and if Burrow can have the impact of Watson then they could be similar to the Texans in a couple years.

But T. J. is right; he doesn't know Jeaux. I will never doubt Jeaux Burreaux on a football field.

Why is Carson Palmer the measuring stick here? Most of his run was pretty mediocre. When did he ever scare you?

Carson was pretty great until he had that hit to both his knees.

TJ said Carson was a wizard and as far as skill set was the most complete QB he's ever seen, caught for/etc. It was in the "call me crazy" podcast with Joy Taylor

I’ve posted it before and i will post it again. If winning Super Bowls is Joe’s goal now, he needs to do everything in his power to get as far away from the Bengals as possible. They are a shite organization from the owner on down. His agents at CAA need to pull an Eli ASAP. If it were me, I would throw the interview with the Bengals and succinctly tell them- “do not take me- I don’t want to be with you.” Let them package the pick to anyone else. The thought of pissing off of the public in Cincy would have absolutely no bearing on me telling the Bengals this.

The Bengals have been to the playoffs as many times this century as the Cowboys. Would you counsel him not to go to the Cowboys?

until the pieces came together, the best QB to come out of college prior to Joe (Archie Manning) could not do it. It is a team sport. No QB can throw the ball downfield laying on his back.

Carson Palmer is all projection and zero production. Much like Sam Bradford.

Palmer was a good QB. However, different time, different coaches, different personnel and most importantly, different era. Palmer wouldn't be considered a great QB
