Lane Kiffin had a message he wanted to send to his LSU players coming out of halftime against McNeese on Saturday.

With LSU holding a commanding lead, officials approached Kiffin about using a running clock for the second half. Kiffin declined, using the moment to remind his players that the game would end when they decided it was over.

A new behind-the-scenes video captured Kiffin delivering that message to the Tigers on the field:

God I love our coach. There are very few teams that do it like LSU. I like how Lane plays/rotates lots of players. That way if you do have some injuries there is no drop off and the more players that get reps, they become even more invested in the season. Also, when we score or get a sack, I feel like the team just did that, not just the individual. With Lane at LSU, I literally believe we can beat any team any time.

If mcneese didn't want to play in the 2nd half they could've forfeited and gone home after halftime.

Yes, but the reserve defense put the clamps on the after Dottery’s impassioned sideline speech.

Yes against mostly 3rd stringers. McNeese didn’t even have 50 yds total offense against LSUs starters lol.
