During the College GameDay Podcast this week, Rece Davis stuck to his argument that Tennessee belongs in the playoff ahead of LSU if the Tigers were to win out.

If we beat Georgia by 1 point, we are in the playoff. Suck it Rece.

Not when you get beat by an ACC school and get blown out by Tennessee.

The SEC champion should be guaranteed a playoff spot before anyone else within the conference.

Wonder what Rece thought about Head to Head in 2011? Didn't we beat Bama Head to Head and win the conference championship, only to have Bama back into a rematch?

I remember him saying that was totally justified. Go figure.

Nah, SEC champ goes. If TN doesn’t like it, they can leave the conference.

Y’all get way too triggered by one man’s opinion. And it’s not like it’s crazy and out there either. I hope we go to the playoffs with a win over GA but I won’t be shocked at all of TN sneaks ahead of us, and neither should you. Anything beyond what we’ve already accomplished is lagniappe. Just enjoy it and if we don’t make the playoff it is NOTHING to melt over.

Now head on matters to Rece. I bet back in 2011 he was crying like a bitch for the gumps to back into the championship game.

If he is so adamant that head to head matters, then he should not claim the gumps won the title in 2011/2012.

LSU was the division champion, conference champion, beat BAMA IN Tuscaloser and had one more overall win.

Head to head counts only if 2 teams have similar resume. If LSU beat Georgia they would have beaten 3 top 10 teams whereas Tenn beat only Alabama and LSU whne LSU was ranked 25th.

Beating Georgia and winning SEC should over rule any Tennessee conversation!

The TN loss was also before we figured out how to use "'Cuda" Perkins. If we played them now it would be a different story.

Are teams the same from game one to game five, or from game 5 to game 10? NO…. This reeks of the media awarding titles based upon perceptions, and exactly why we really need to just play the games in a 12 team playoff. We need to stop feeding media personalities. Play the games and end all of this silly nonsense.

If LSU win out, they will be in the playoffs!!!
Resume of wins over top teams will catapult them above Tennessee. In my opinion.

If you beat the number one team in the nation, while winning your conference championship, Tennessee will have to kneel down to their champion and LSU goes to the playoffs.

Rece needs to shut up and only read the telepromter. No one gives a shite about what he thinks...
