Former LSU and current Tennesee Titans cornerback Kristian Fulton spoke with reporters this week and talked about what it's going to be like defending his former high school and LSU teammate Ja'Marr Chase in the AFC Divisional Playoffs this Saturday. Per TitansWire:

“I don’t think we both imagined it like this, to be honest,” Fulton said of he and Chase facing each other in the NFL playoffs. “We basically grew up together, so we keep in touch throughout the season. During the offseason we’ll probably get some workouts in together. We’ve got a pretty tight relationship.”

“He’s having a hot year, so I’m just going to do my best to make sure he doesn’t have a big game. Just going to stick to the game plan, whatever we got going, and just try to slow them down for sure,” Fulton said. “Just knowing he’s a playmaker; he can take the top off the defense, he can take a play for 80 yards. Just knowing what they want to do with him, how they want to get him the ball. He’s a really great player since high school so I just know what he’s capable of doing.”

He one of the most underrated secondary players we’ve had. I still get mad about how NCAA treated him and cost him a whole year.

They won’t get many one on ones. I see tenn looking to confuse Joe with zone looks and frontline pass rush.

Fulton has had a very good year and has proven he's one of the better CBs in the league. Jamar is an animal but Fulton can carry his own out there.

Don't bring that in here. Fulton was a true tiger and stayed 4 years and has represented LSU well

Fulton is quietly one of the best CBs in the entire NFL. It's going to take an entire coordinated defensive scheme to deal with Burrow and the Bengals' offense, but you can bet Kristian will do his part.

Hate to see one former tiger abuse another former tiger, but Chase is going to go off against the Titans.
