St. Augustine High School in New Orleans announced Wednesday morning that they will not participate in any meeting to discuss a potential "boycott" of LSU and issued the following statement:

SECCountry.com reported Tuesday that New Orleans high school coaches were planning to meet this week to discuss a "boycott" of LSU.

According to the report, the reason for the potential boycott had to do with Ed Orgeron's decision to reassign running back coach Jabbar Juluke, who has coached for many New Orleans area high schools in the past.

Looking completely from the outside, these HS coaches look ridiculous and are definitely in their educational roles for the wrong reasons. Good thing that kids at that age are rebellious. If this so called 'boycot' becomes documented reality, it will actually work in LSU's favor.

Saints been hating LSU for years. No new news here. New Orleans is not a part of Louisiana, never has been. Benson, pay for your own dome.

Sean P. wearing Bama sweat gear, passed on Jeremy Hill, Eric Reid, OBJ and Jarvis Landry. Don't want no Tigers on his roster. LSU has more in the NFL than any other university, but the Saints say, "hell no.''

This is fueled 100% by racist black coaches. I will also ad that if the full truth came out I bet Burton Burns and his school is pushing behind the scenes.

racist huh...smh Aren't you tired of seeing that word? This past presidential campaign has flipped our country in its head.

LSU used to be locked out of New Orleans for the most part because Tulane would harp on LSU being a racist school. Another reason to hate Tulane more than any SEC school.

It's disgusting that these grown men would discourage these young men from doing what's best for them to push their own agenda. They should be ashamed of themselves.

What is wrong with these people? MY LORD.... Does this go on anywhere else but New Orleans? It's the state flagship university. I know you people fashion yourselves as some big daddy shit, but get over yourself. You're absurd human beings.

Not that it is particularly relevant, but Juluke is a St Aug grad.

St Aug coach Al Jones is Chad Jones and Rahim Alem's father. Seriously doubt he's boycotting LSU

This is why these coaches are in the HS ranks. These guys do not have the stones to do what is necessary to be the HC of an SEC football team. I did not have a problem with either of the coaches let go, but its Coach O's team now, if he says we need a change that is his call. Secondly, as a coach, you should always be trying to set your athletes for the best opportunities that present themselves. How do you think proud mama and papa are going to react when Coach O comes knocking to recruit their baby and their jerk arse HS coach and his ego do not let them in... they'll be at IMG (or wherever) within the week...

These coaches are hurting their kids and themselves. Both my kids played college sports at the college they chose to play at and our HS coach had very little say in that matter.

Problem is, it's not about the kids, it's about them.

This is sad and these schools should pay the price regardless bc obviously there is some merit to these reports. Pathetic of these schools and they WILL suffer the consequences. In my experience, when you purposely do wrong to innocent people for overreaction to emotion, you always feel that pain yourself. They will feel that pain for even suggesting this IMO and should. GT

They not hurting LSU, because LSU will recruit all over the country. But they are hurting the state by not allowing their athletes the opportunity to stay home AND compete for a championship. Stupid!

A boycott? WTF. It was business! Of all people, you'd think HS coaches would understand this...but no, it MUST be personal and maybe RACIAL. The crazy-ass world is really bleeding into college football. smh

They don't get to make decisions that affect the futures of their players bc of some butthurt. Anyone who even considers doing so should be "re-assigned".
