Report: Whit Weeks Suffered A Fracture In His Right Leg Against Texas A&M

LSU received some tough injury news Sunday regarding star linebacker Whit Weeks.
According to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Weeks suffered a fracture in his leg during Saturday night’s 35-6 win over Texas A&M.
The good news is that the injury is not currently believed to be season-ending, and there is optimism that Weeks will be able to return at some point this season.
Weeks is expected to have surgery on Monday and could possibly be back in 4-6 weeks, according to Zenitz.
Weeks left Saturday night’s game with a right leg injury and was later seen on the sideline using crutches and wearing a walking boot.
More details on his recovery timeline could become available this week.
