Report: Tiger Stadium Was Vandalized On Tuesday Night

LSU's Tiger Stadium was broken into and the field was vandalized on Tuesday night, according to multiple sources. A tarp was seen covering the field Wednesday. Per The Advocate:

Michael Bonnette, LSU's sports information director, said the damage was "minimal" and "nothing that can't be corrected."

"The good thing about grass is that it grows back," Bonnette said.

He added that the LSU Police Department is conducting an investigation into exactly what happened.

The stadium is not scheduled for use for nearly four months, until a spring game in April.

Used to be fun going on the field late night (mid-late 80's here) or sneakin' in for a swim at the Huey P... it's all disappearing now. Tunnels next (or are they already a no go)?

Second time this year. It really sucks cause since as long as I can remember anyone can get to the field after hours through a fence and now it is going to be locked up like Fort Knox.
