The Advocate is reporting that suspended LSU offensive lineman Ed Ingram was arrested the day before fall camp started on two counts of aggravated sexual assault in Dallas County on Aug. 2.
quote:

LSU Athletics Department officials confirmed they were notified of Ingram's arrest Aug. 2 and that the alleged incident occurred before his time at LSU.

The sheriff's department arrested Ingram, 19, a native of DeSoto, Texas, on a warrant made by the DeSoto Police Department. The police department told The Advocate it had received a report of the incident from Child Protective Services on Aug. 22, 2017.

Ingram's first semester at LSU started that same month.

CPS said Tuesday it could not confirm the existence of the case because of state confidentiality laws.
The DeSoto Police Department said that the victim was a minor but did not disclose the exact age, according to the report.

When coach o says he broke “team rules”, I think skipping class, failing a class, or maybe failing a drug test, not sexual assault

Mister Alabama what would your dwarf head coach Nicky say?

For Pete Sake can we just get the damn season started already? All of this drama shite is ridiculous. And for all of Y'all blaming O for this shite, Y'all need to get Y'all heads examined. There is nothing he could have done in this situation because of it happening before he came to LSU.

Maybe the players should start having Players Only meeting Before they go home for Break!! Seems like most of the incidents occur away from school!

The victim was or still is a minor? Sounds like he was a minor as well at the time of this 'incident'.

Welp I knew it didn’t happen in Louisiana because we don’t have that law. Texas law though is LINK

I don't know man... I get that the 17yo part could be hard for an 18yo dude. But the other sick shite you have to do to increase the crime to aggravated s.a. under that statute is pretty effed up. (Would definitely be a crime here.)

I can see this turning really ugly if coaches knew this and allowed him to join the team anyway. I don’t have an opinion either way as few facts have been released but I’m hopeful and confident that no one would have let him come to campus knowing these allegations. Baylor was buried after allowing basically the same thing to happen.

he was arrested a few the day before fall camp. what would the coaches have known last year?

maybe read this again (from above):

The police department told The Advocate it had received a report of the incident from Child Protective Services on Aug. 22, 2017.

Ingram's first semester at LSU started that same month.

CPS said Tuesday it could not confirm the existence of the case because of state confidentiality laws.

You better believe someone with Alabama ties in part of this. If it was their player, the whole thing would have disappeared before it started.

We are starting to look more and more like bama in the off-season. The only problem is coach o doesn’t have Satan’s buying power.

People like you are pathetic, blaming everything on Bama. You’re another fan with short dick syndrome when it comes to bama. You sound like a fricking SJW blaming everyone else
