Everyone forgets Danny had no offensive line to speak of during his tenure.

Is it the JT Barrett Practice Squad contract or is it the real deal?

Brady gets hurt week 1 and Etling takes over. Brings Pats to super bowl. Who would be more upset? The people who hated orgeron for sticking with Etling? Or the people who loved orgeron and blamed Etling for the losses?

Now we will see what true QB development is...

So taking a guy who couldn't start at Purdue and turning him into a 6th round draft pick isn't QB development?

The butthurt is strong up in here. I'll take Bill Belicheck's opinion any day of the week when it comes to talent. Well done, Danny boy!

It's Okay to be Etling

Pats sit Brady last game of regular season. Etling comes in and passes for 300+ and 3 TDs. The following season he gets $20million to go to some desperate team.

Not necessary to throw a ball, dimwit.

Bruh, in pressure situations, sometimes you don’t have time to rotate the ball. You obviously never played the position.

Nothing more than a camp arm .

"Nothing more than a camp arm ." Sounds like a good gig to me. Make more money than probably anyone here will make (over same time period) playing football for a really good coaching staff. If he makes the team, he prob gets to stand on the sidelines, wear a baseball cap, hold a clip board, signal in play and take very few hits. Do that for 5 years and he's fully vested in the NFL retirement. Who here pass up that job?

Even if he's a practice squad he's pulling in somewhere b/t 90-150k. Not bad. Sure beats sitting at a desk for 30+ years

this is the franchise that made former UF loser jacoby brissett look like a competent qb. etling to the pro bowl 2023.

Jacoby Brissett was a pretty good college QB and also did damn well as a first year last minute starter this year in Indy. Watch more football. Not to mention he's a good guy. Not sure what you have against him to disaparage him.

Riding the pine behind Brady and not taking any big hits is a pretty good life. I wish him at least 4 years of that.

You do know that there are no garunteeing in this contract don’t you?
user avatar

Yeah baw, I am aware. That is why I was wishing he makes it through his 4 years, if not further. When he took big hits at LSU he would tough it out, rub a little dirt on it and play through the pain. I am glad to see him rewarded.
