While it seems like LSU freshman defensive tackle Dominic Livingston is looking transfer, another defensive lineman has decided to stay put.

Shea Dixon with 247Sports is reporting that LSU freshman defensive lineman Davin Cotton has removed his name from the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Cotton, a former four-star prospect from Shreveport, La (Evangel Christian Academy) entered his name in the portal on Monday but it has decided to remain at LSU.

When I first heard DT Davin Cotton entered the transfer portal I was a lil bummed out but I felt relieved when he removed his name. Cotton 6'4" about 279 lbs is not a 3-4 DT and he needs to put on at least another 10 to 15 lbs to be an effective 3-4 DE in the SEC. I'm glad he decided to stay because he's a very talented kid who could end up making a difference.
