Jacques Doucet of WAFB reports that former LSU running back Nick Brossette was let go from his role as Director of Alumni Relations and High School Outreach on Brian Kelly's staff Thursday.

"I’m told there wasn’t a single incident that led up to this move and that Brossette was very blindsided by the dismissal"

If you're not exelling at your craft, these things happen.

It's called life.

Yes, it is important to "excel" at your job.

Exactly. You dont have to have an "incident" to be poor at your job. One of Doucet's boys who was friends with Nick must have called to complain.

Maybe this is a rotating position, or maybe he just wasn't as good as he thought he was at the job. He's essentially a recruiter for Louisiana. We might have lost some big fish that had no contact.

Dude looks older than Moses. Maybe Kelly was trying to portray a younger image. Those jobs are cash gifts and he made more in that short while than most of us will ever see. Life

BK wants to portray a younger image? The job is a cash gif? WTF are you talking about?

It’s a comment site Karen. Not all comments are literal. Go back to your trailer and rehang your Harris-Biden sign! That is WTF I talk about. Goon

Nick’s a great kid. That’s a loss for LSU. In what can be a hectic position, especially on game days, Nick always kept his composure. He made former players feel back at home when they’d go back and visit.

He may be a great kid, what if he wasnt doing his job the way they wanted it done, there is always two sides to every story.

J. Doucet sounds butt hurt. If he is so great Doucet, how about getting him hired with you!????
