Multiple sources are reporting that former LSU offensive lineman La’el Collins is being released by the Dallas Cowboys.

The Baton Rouge native played at LSU from 2011 to 2015 and was picked up by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent after the 2015 NFL Draft.

Nice Bengals fit for RT. and they can re-sign Rieff as a Guard/depth. Gotta do something about the deadbeat at LT.

Collins also has a history of NFL drug policy issues. Right or wrong, Dallas is taking a stand with these types of guys on the roster with two gone in two days. One left on his own after being presented with a nonpayment of salary clause due to drug related missed time and the other (Collins) cut.

La'el didn't get screwed by unscrupulous agents but by a dumb butt agent. His position as a "person of interest" in a murder could have been cleared before the draft if his agent had got a charter flight back to BR and interviewed with BR Police. They would have immediately cleared him from any suspicion in the murder of his ex-girlfriend. He then would have been a 1st or 2nd round pick in the NFL draft and made lots of money in his first contract instead of the NFL minimum. Huge injustice done to him by his incompetent agent.

Joe Burrow, who played for LSU and won a national title, was drafted by the Bengals. So a lot of LSU fans cheer for them.

Cowboys did him a solid after the trade market wasn’t great. He can go wherever he wants now.

The Cowboys organization probably remembers the screwing he got by unscrupulous agents on draft day (and the BRPD didn't help).

To be fair, he looked really poor at the end of the season, when he was playing, last year....

He was good for a drive killing false start or hold every single game. Maybe a change of scenery will do him good

Hate to say this, but Collins is not the pick for the Bengals. There will be better options.
