Sounds like he’s agreed to retain the current DC.

Just leave already, I’m so tired of living in fear of losing him every offseason.

So, he should leave because you lack balls? Screw you. LOL

Dip shite. He should leave because I’m inevitably. He’s given us enough good years where it’s time for him to make the jump to HC somewhere.

We knew he would leave at some point: 1) we got it done and got a natty 2) Baylor is a very respectable job to lose him to

Great facilities, and quality school. Hate to see him go, but he would walk into a good foundation left for him.

Well damn. Had the first wiz guy swooped up quick to Carolina and 7 juniors declared and now Aranda is one of few top candidates. Getting shafted all in one week does not feel too good. I need a massage after reading this

I hate to lose a coach that consistantly has the tigers ranked 30th in America in defense.

Personally, in my opinion, I don't believe Dave Aranda is cut out to be a good head coach, as opposed to a DC. As he is a very analytical dude but at the same time, he lacks the people skills necessary to be a good head coach. Nonetheless, if he gets the job, more power to him.

In the book "Good to great', Jim Collins talks about different types of leaders. Usually, the companies led by loud and self aggrandizing leaders have fizzled, even if they shined bright briefly. He talks about servant leaders who are thoughtful and give others credit, who succeed and their companies display sustained success. Introverted and quiet does not mean meek and timid. If Aranda gets the job, hope he learns from O's initial mistakes and has a smoother transition as a HC.
