LSU opens up SEC play on the road this Saturday in a huge game vs. No. 7 Auburn.

The matchup, which is always a good one in the western division, will be a tough game for the Tigers pull off, according to Paul Finebaum who appeared on WJOX 94.5 Birmingham radio.

Here's what he had to say:
quote:

“This is once again the game of the day, and these are two teams a year ago were kind of all over the place and LSU pulled off the upset,” Finebaum said.

“I like Auburn right now because of what I’ve seen from them. You can’t compare beating Miami to beating Washington. I think Washington was a far more significant impactful win. I don’t want to take anything away from LSU... they looked really good, which no one quite expected them to do. But this is a pretty tall mountain to climb to beat Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium.”

The home team has won 16 of the last 18 matchups. LSU won twice @Auburn. So the trend is going Auburn’s direction

The refs helped Auburn against Washington. They'll probably do the same against LSU.

"pretty tall mountain to climb to beat Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium" yes it is but LSU can win at Auburn. Do y'all really think the LSU d is not going to shut these 'plainmen' down?

I would say that, but our offense is not capable of sustaining a drive long enough to let our D rest. They will get tired and thats where they will beat us.

F-baum is sitting on pins and needles waiting for LSU to fail. He loves it when LSU loses.

Literally my first thought when I saw picture of him in headline. Well I thought his skin makes one wonder if that is more of a 60 year old looking penis?

Ditto---- He is right on this one. The home team has won 16 out of the last 18 games. So the Tigers will win. But which one.

Trying to make it seem beating Washington is a better win than beating Miami. Paul being Paul, which is a gigantic fricking idiot.

According to most of The Rant before the Miami game Miami was a terrible team that we should beat easily.
