Paul Finebaum Calls Lane Kiffin The 'Kim Kardashian Of College Football'

Paul Finebaum had quite the comparison for LSU head coach Lane Kiffin during an appearance on the What A Day podcast this week.

While discussing Kiffin's move from Ole Miss to LSU and the drama that has followed him throughout his coaching career, Finebaum called him the "Kim Kardashian of college football."

“First of all, Lane Kiffin is the Kim Kardashian of college football. Wherever she goes or he goes, there’s destruction and carnage in his place,” Finebaum said.

Finebaum went on to revisit Kiffin's departure from Ole Miss for LSU and pointed to Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry's involvement in bringing him to Baton Rouge.

“The governor got involved — Jeff Landry … got on the phone and called Lane Kiffin. He promised Lane Kiffin: ‘I will be at your disposal,’ and he’s held that part of the bargain,” Finebaum said.

Finebaum added that LSU is a "unique place" where "it's LSU against the world."
