Yep, that's right... this is must watch material from former LSU quarterback Danny Etling who scored on an 86-yard rushing touchdown vs. Giants on Thursday night.

Etling finished the game going 18/32 for 157 yards with 2 TD's and 1 INT. He was the teams leading rusher with 7 carries for 113 yards and 1 TD.

Here's a nice 45-yard deep pass from Etling earlier in the game:

Sweet wheels, Danny. "At least 7 people got cut on that play. You're cut, you're cut, pack your bags." lol

TD reporter needs to check his stats. Etling had 2 interceptions not 1.

I never knew he had that much speed. One would have thought that a defensive back could have run him down. But he was pulling away from them.

Well hell, he can run.... I guess the coaches kept his shoes tied together when he played at LSU.

Etling’s just a white boy looking for a place to do his thing.

I'll bet that Giants coach chewed some serious arse after that game. That defense was keyed completely on the RB as though it was against the rules for the QB to keep it on an option. Good for Danny though. Dude had some speed too. Those guys were seriously out of position but they still should have been able to run him down. Very nice!

Makes you wonder just how good LF, DG and DW really are when a running back as good as Danny Etling can even play 3rd string at LSU.

Great. They're all scrubs with shitty game reading skills, but Etling at least has to have above average wheels to make it the distance. I do love how he "gave the ball" to the o-linemen. He earned plenty of locker room support there. Well done.

Cost his receiver a TD on the underthrow, shades of the past.

I mean he was practically scrambling while he threw it, so I'll give him slack on that pass man

God, NFL preseason is such trash. That defense was worse than junior high level gap responsibilities. That corner dough lolol. WTF?

LSU never let him run the ball.

11 New York Giants player bite on a fake in a preseason game full of scrubs and you are the guy that equates it to blunders by the LSU coaching staff. Go home, cracker, you’re drunk.

Run him til he gets hurt? He has speed, but he isn't elusive. Dude took some big hits on some scrambles the last few years.

I was shocked when Danny got drafted, but you can’t take away his grittiness and desire. Pretty damn happy for the kid.
