The CBS Sports college football crew recently made their predictions for No. 10 LSU’s road matchup against Kentucky on Saturday night.

Brian Jones and Rick Neuheisel are both picking the Tigers to leave Lexington with a victory, while Aaron Taylor is going against the grain and taking the Wildcats.

LSU and Kentucky both enter the matchup with 4-1 records. The Tigers are 1-1 in SEC play, while Kentucky sits at 2-1 after rallying from a 17-point deficit to beat South Carolina 35-34 in overtime last weekend.

LSU enters the matchup as a 9.5-point road favorite, with the over/under currently sitting at 52.5 points.

Saturday’s game will kick off at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

Aaron Taylor doesn't know what he's talking about. He's definitely drinking something.

And now as Paul Harvey used to say, "the rest of the story". Using objective STATS. LSU has the better rushing offense, the better rushing defense, the better passing offense, and the better passing defense, better 3rd down conversions, more points per game, less points per game given up. The ONLY area where Kentucky comes out ahead is turnovers +5 where LSU is dead even. The fastest doesn't always win the race, but that is the way to bet. LSU 31 Kentucky 20

If Leavitt's hamstring gives him issues... and UK struggles against mobile QB's like he said they have, then I like our odds with Landen Clark taking the helm in Leavitt's absence.
