LSU senior outside linebacker Travez Moore announced Thursday evening that he is opting out of the remaining season. Per The Advocate:
quote:

The 6-foot-4, 242-pound Bastrop native played in three games this season, and he recorded three tackles, one tackle for loss and a sack. He was listed as a linebacker on the official roster, but he was also used as a reserve pass rusher at defensive end.

Moore recorded his sack against Vanderbilt, when he rushed off the left edge as a defensive end.

I thought he was 6'6, at least that's what they listed him at when they first signed him on. But still here's a kid that has great football size and did absolutely NOTHING while at LSU. Lol He made zero impact and now he's opting out, well, he won't be missed.

yeah, they need to just go ahead and stop with the "opting out" word use... can't really say you are opting out, when you've obviously already opted in this season by playing already... anyway, looks like he's taken his last snap for us, so good luck to the young man, but at the same time I hope he studied hard, he's gonna need that degree, b/c football is not in his future.... looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane

You would think that a person who went to LSU for four years would know that it’s not “the university of LSU”.

Anyone who takes this season seriously is naive. It isn’t just LSU. This entire season is a damn joke. Players “opting out” for what? Then you have the “BIG” playing 8 games. The PAC12 playing 7 games. Poorly prepared teams playing poor football because they had no Spring and very limited Fall Practice. Then there are few fans in the stands. No tailgating. Piped in crowd noise. The only reason this was thrown together was to make money to pay coaches and stay afloat until next year. Whoever “wins” any “Championship” this season will always be known as the “Covid Champion”. The best thing happening is LSU is getting a ton of experience for the Freshmen & Sophomores and building for next season. Geaux Tigers!

"rob62" - I just hate that they lost to Auburn like that - 48-11. I mean you had Malzahn shooting off his trap all week about how LSU barely won the last few games and that they should have won those games, as if they're soo much better than a LSU. That's the biggest crock of BS you ever wanna hear, but when you lose like they did yesterday it makes the idiot look like he knows what he's talking about. I hope LSU young players remember this game for next season in TS and open up the can of whoop arse on them for the return rubber match. Throw bombs on them with the game out of hand in the 4th qtr like they did yesterday on LSU. "See tha special O man" "Let'em have It".

You’re 100% correct bc LSU is the only school having issues during this covid crap. Hell, read rob62’s post up top if you think things are only bad at for the Tigers. Honestly, you can look 1 state over and see that it’s not just here.

At this point, don’t really care. Whomever has the balls to play, then play. I’ll cheer for ya. Everyone else with empty sacks can go on their merry way.
