LSU's Les Miles Discusses The QB Competition

Count me in on the fed up team. And the fan base is okay with an 8 or 9 win season. Simply amazing. Only 12 more years and GoodOleLess can retire and he and Bobby Bowden can open up that bed & breakfast and tell tall tales , and maybe cuss those hated Sabans and Spurriers . The countdown is on !

I respect that they are competing but how great would it be for someone to separate themselves.

Harris has to start or this team wont be elite and compete in the west. The one thing he needs is experience and that's exactly what miles is holding back from him. Its almost like he doesn't want there to be any separation when its clear that Harris is easily more talented.

This whole QB debacle is aging me faster than I'd like. Someone....for the love of god please step up!!!!

I'll just have to make up the excuse that Miles has to deal with what he has regarding a QB and let the blame fall more on the player than on himself. He can always use the "more experienced" reasoning for keeping Jennings in.

Miles and Jennings will ultimately take the entire program down is their too stubborn to make a change. Harris has an unlimited ceiling and we wasted a whole year last year with Jennings. It will be another 7-6 or 8-5 kinda year if Jennings is the QB

Ever since the Jarrett Lee year, Miles has been VERY conservative which wasn't what got him to where he was at that point. Solid defense and a good running game are enough to win MOST of the games each year, but not against the Alabama's of the league and that list is growing. The strength or lack thereof of the defense under a new defensive head coach remains to be see as well this year. If Miles can't be sure enough of his current QB's to let them go, he needs to recruit a different kind that he can depend on to not lose the game for him. Matt Flynn comes to mind......

"Decided Improvement" means going from "Very Bad" to just "Bad." Les is going to sink or swim with his "Dual Tbreat QB's" that can run real fast. Didn't bring in any JUCO's either and lost Patterson to the Bears. Hope and pray that Franks doesn't decide to play pro baseball. The majority of the fan base has had just about enough

Look Jennings is the starter, this is Les Miles we are talking about here. He's known to stick to his guns. Think Jordan Jefferson. Miles is complacent. Come game day Jennings will be under center because Harris didn't "Separate" himself.

Anyone who thinks Miles is naming a starter after spring is mildly retarded. Even if a guy is separating himself, he's going to leave the competition open until 2 weeks before the first game. No need to stifle the competitive flow this early.
