and with all that, we went 5-3 in the SEC in 2013.

If Mathieu had gotten back in school, he would have been another one drafted in 2014.

Mathieu wasn't going to stay for his senior season. Guy was a 3rd rounder a year after he set out and had a Josh Gordon problem. He's was almost guaranteed to be a 1st rounder after the 2012 season. I do believe that we would be in the SEC Championship game if he didn't get arrested after being kicked off though. We lost twice that year in the regular season. Versus Bama in the last 2 minutes and vs UF by a score of 14-6. That guy could change the tide of a game like very few.

Horseshoes and hand grenades not football. Think Alabama would kiss sabans cheeks if he was runner up 6 times. Heck no! You did bring up a good point though coaching won that title for bama in 2011.

Did each of the other top 5 classes win at least one national championship?

I really don't understand why LSU fans boast about producing so much talent in the NFL. If you're LSU fans, you really need to be wondering what's going on at LSU and why aren't there more Championships if these guys are soooooooooo good.

So much talent & so little to show for it. Just think what an above average head coach could have done. If is wasn't for the highest paid assistant coaching staff in the nation, we would be looking at 7-5 or 6-6.

Miles didn't develop the talent, the NFL did. LSU will continue to lead the way with NFL talent and no MNC titles or SEC titles to show for it. Saban gets the most out of the players because it's his system. Once they move on there done developing or don't transition with an inferior coach.

We beat Alabama in something. I had to look as I knew ESPN wouldn't have posted this.

The Rant will shite all over this so fast. "Miles can't develop talent, this is a lie" OR "Miles didn't win a title with this group". Can't wait.

Not a rant but the truth.

I understand the critics of Miles but you can't say he doesn't develop talent. QBs obviously he does not but outside of that he has recruited and developed talent better than anyone. He just so happens to be in the same division with the greatest college coach ever to walk the sidelines.

Miles doesn't develop them, the assistants do.

"Miles doesn't develop them, the assistants do." Miles doesn't lose games, the assistants do. See how moronic this sounds?
