LSU freshman defensive lineman Dominic Livingston entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal last week and announced Wednesday that he is leaving LSU due to family issues.

Livingston, a native of Houston, said he will head back to his home state of Texas to continue his college career. The former three-star prospect was a one-time Texas A&M commit but signed with the Tigers as part of the 2018 class.

He appeared in just one game for LSU in 2018 but did not record a stat.
