LSU defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko took to Twitter on Monday night to let undecided recruits know that when it comes to food, there's no better place than LSU.

We need a LSU connection pipeline with Hawaii. It’s a perfect fit. Samoans would love LSU

LSU would get a lot of recruits if that were to happen

Living 34 years in Louisiana and the last 12 in Virginia, he is so correct!

Moved back to Richmond almost 2 months ago, and already miss the food. Along with South LA winter.

Been to Hawaii 3 times and my daughter was struggling to find something that she liked on the menu and the waitress asked her what she normally orders. To which she answered: Crawfish, gumbo, fried chicken & rice and gravy! The waitress asked her where she was from. She answered “The State with the best food in the world: Louisiana!” The waitress agreed and said “Yeah, we can’t compete with that!”

It's amazing to me, the amount of current and former players that are actively recruiting for LSU. Like Fehoko here, or OBJ at the aTm game, and Weathersby during his post game interview at the same game. Player endorsements may have never been more common than they are now. I don't know why, but I like it. Reel these recruits in and help establish a new SECW dynasty.

I hope that you guys aren't missing the fact that a guy from Hawaii is claiming that the best seafood comes from right here!

Anybody that doesn't know that Louisiana has the best food in the entire south obviously hasn't ever eaten South Louisiana food. That's why the corn dog nickname is so silly and stupid. If all the things to make fun of LSU, food is the very last.

Listen baw the end result of all this corndog stuff is that I've had an opportunity to eat a hell of a lot more corndogs. Corndogs are goddamn delicious, and I'd like to meet the liar who says otherwise.

Dude speaks the truth. LSU can't be beat when it comes to two things: food and tailgating.

Much better than the Tex-Mex and "BBQ" they boast about to the West.
user avatar
Bamasuks76 months
"to the west" we have all of it - fresh Gulf seafood, BBQ and Tex-Mex/Mexican, and much more. There's more to the world than boiled crayfish.

Cajun food is ok if you like overseasoned food.
