No Bad feelings toward Aranda. I hope he does well at BU. He deserves the job.

not only is this good because it's just an off field analyst who can be restocked easily every year (Bama does this routinely), these guys were getting chump change as off field analysts, now they are making a real living and are actually allowed to coach players on the field.

Pelini’s D is probably too intense. Have fun in your safe space though.

Well it's a completely different system and Bo Pelini probably has people that he wants for that job. I don't think it's any sign of weakness

Be honest fellows, 99% of fans didn’t know who Caleb Young was until today!

He was just an analyst but damm, doesn't Aranda have any of his own connections. Hope he does well, seemed like a good guy but i am on the fence if he will make it as a big time head coach.

Connections like Aranda’s defensive coordinator, Ron Roberts, being Caleb Young’s college football coach? Some of you guys are ridiculous

Never been an Aranda fan as you know....just more fuel on the flame. Good bye and good riddance!!

Will he be an actual coach on the field or another analyst? If he’ll be a coach I understand the move.

It’s the 3rd on he has taken.

He’s hired two off field analysts to on field roles, and the third guy is going to work with him again along with his former head coach when he was a player himself. Can’t be mad at any of those moves

Aranda revealing himself to be a slippery snake. Here come the downvotes.

Deservedly so with the down votes. He hired this guy to begin with. Young is going to work with him again, as well as his head coach when he played at Southeastern, Ron Roberts. It’s part of it. Doesn’t make Aranda a snake...

It’s entirely possible the Pelini advised him to find a new job.

This is extremely frowned upon among college coaches. Aranda is burning bridges

Dude he is an analyst who was recently a grad assistant in 2018. It's not that serious.
