Former LSU coach Les Miles had the following comments about Ed Orgeron being promoted to be the permanent head coach of the Tigers in a text message to The Advocate.

Still love Miles even though his time here was definitely done. He deserves to be honored and remembered more than how the hack Alleva treated him.
