I'm disappointed but should've known this could happen. This will be my 6yr olds first game in Baton Rouge and he's stoked. The buildup of tailgating, watching the players come down victory hill, hearing "...It's Saturday Night in Death Valley.," etc...has him on cloud 9. And then we get this news. Just sucks.

We could be Ohio State and play 3 or 4 or more 11am games a year

I don't mind early kickoffs for non SEC crap games. I just hate them for SEC games, mates

11Am = 9AM out here as you know. Bloody Marys instead of bourbon. I can work with that!

I hate how Bama dictates what goes on at the sec office. Poor little Nikki has to play early games. He is such a puss.

Hell man, it’s great for me too and I’m not even 40 yet. Game is over by 3:30 EST and I still have a lot of daylight left. I’m lame as hell so not having to stay up until 11PM to watch a game is nice every once in a while.

I understand why everyone hates it, but personally I love waking up and getting to see the Tigers play almost first thing in my day.

Except it is a pain for those that actually go to the game.

That's the part I completely understand. It hurts the actual game day experience.

This is the result of Saban whining about LSU getting so many night games.

We should be able to dictate our start time especially at home games. One 11am game a year is plenty in my book

Sadly, TV contracts say differently. ESPN rules the world.

Before everyone freaks out, Bama is on a bye. This isn’t because of them. Adjust your melt accordingly.
