If you were wondering how redshirt freshman Jarell Cherry added on 30-pounds since last season... it's simple. He's been walking around with bricks in his backpack, according to teammate Breiden Fehoko.

Love this, after next season we lose a lot of DEs, Cherry and the transfer from Texas will give us 2 extra DEs, both in their third year, it will help the depth alot

This is perfect because we needed more DE's than OLB's this year and as long as he kept his speed off the ball then this was a awesome decision.

What does he weigh if he removes the backpack full of bricks?

Wasn't Cherry the former sprinter.I thought that he was going to play outside linebacker. Well, there goes his speed.

Weird...carrying bricks in my backpack is how I lost 30 pounds.

Saw an article that said he’s benching 500lbs also. Dude is gonna be a monster.

That's dedication. I'm sure he's been in the gym constantly too, but when you he finds ways to continue the workout even when he isn't in the gym.

Yeah bricks did that. Not the roids.

exactly. If anything he would lose weight from burning all the extra calories. Bricks don't weigh enough (at least the amount you could fit in a standard school backpack without breaking the straps) to build significant amounts of muscle.

Yeah, because I'm sure he hasn't been eating anything or hitting the weight room with the team at all...

In all fairness, roids don't help much unless you put in the work. Can't turn a donkey into a racehorse.

Why not just weights? Is it that bricks sounds boss? Cause it does.

No but I'm someone who doesn't have to talk about someone else online bc they have no life. It's sad that LSU players can't count on their own fans to be civilized and support them..no matter what. All bc you cucks get off on kids being perfect and making 0 mistakes. I hope your kids dont frick up in the future..bc you'll be a terrible person to go to for support
