Here's Kristian Fulton's First Tweet Since His Denied Appeal

LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton, who had his suspension appeal denied on Thursday, took to Twitter with this message after the decision came down.

Fulton, a junior from Metairie, LA (Rummel) will have to sit out the 2018 season while serving a two-year suspension from the NCAA for violating the NCAA Drug-Testing protocol.

His lawyer Don Jackson said that Fulton will be pursuing a waiver with the NCAA and that "hopefully that's not the end."

Has there ever been an athlete anywhere suspended for two years? He attempted to cheat, got caught, and then submitted his own sample and passed. For that he loses two years? Guess he should have just had some stolen guns and weed. No loss of half his college eligibility then!

PLEASE, KRISTIAN'S LAWER - sue the NCAA over the ambiguity between Rule 3.3 and 3.4 and the disparate penalties as to each, and get an injunction as to the current penalty that will allow him to play since he has served the less-severe 1 year suspension. PLEASE TAKE THE NCAA BEFORE A JUDGE!

Least they could do is grant him an extra year of eligibility later. But that's still an extra year of rust to shake off and a year less of playing time in the NFL, and thus a year less of pay. This is big any way you slice it, and in a bad way.
