Might as well keep the travel time down and do the Texas bowl. We owe Texas for that 2003 Cotton Bowl.

That's nice but wouldn't an alternate (less familiar) matchup make more sense financially

Texas, Florida State or Michigan would be fun. Also Ohio State if they lose to Michigan or Wisconsin.

Is FSU even bowl eligible?

I prefer Tampa.

FSU has something like 4 wins currently. If they win out and we’re stuck with them, I hope we drag balls over them and jimbo. That would be the only good reason to see this matchup.

Please no Michigan State or Northwestern

First of all, these projections are always wrong. So don’t make travel plans just yet. Second, I noticed they have matchups featuring coaches LSU supposedly wanted to hire in Jimbo and Herman. Third, it would be an insult to play either of those teams as I don’t believe they have 8 wins combined! I trust we will get a good matchup against a solid team.

LSU has nothing to gain by playing either of these teams and Alleva should be fired if he accepts any of these invitations.

Decline the invitation and lose out on millions of dollars and not the the team play? That’s not a smart idea. We may get screwed but there’s nothing anyone can do about it. Just win the game and take the money.

Unless Brotato chip there is located in Jax. Then that's why he'd be pulling for a Jax Dec 30 game.

SB Nation is retarded. Texas is currently a 6 win team, not ranked, and in 6th place in a conference less than the SEC. They barely even deserve a bowl game much less play LSU. Michigan State is fair as is Michigan. Funny we may finally play Michigan the first year Les is gone. Northwestern is ok I guess.

Michigan is the game we all deserve. Would be fun lighting them up with all our recruits watching.
