Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports has reported that LSU junior linebacker Harold Perkins is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering an ACL injury vs. UCLA on Saturday.

The injury happened in the 4th quarter when Perkins delivered a hit on wide receiver J.Michael Sturdivant. Perkins had to be helped off the field and eventually made his way in the LSU's locker room before the game ended.

The former five-star recruit had 17 tackles (five solo) and 1.5 tackles for loss in less than four games this season.

Enjoyed his time as a tiger. Best of luck in the NFL young man.

Wish we got more than 2 years out of him but I wish him the best for a speedy recovery and success in the NFL. Big blow to LSU that they really didn’t need. Now we will see what kind of fight this team has in it. Start the Weeks brothers at LB.

I thought he had hurt his lower back. That’s where he grabbed. I never saw him touch his knee. Did not look like an ACL.
Doesn’t matter. Hate it for Perkins. I’ll always love him for telling A&M to stick it and coming to LSU. We may have seen the last of him in P&G. Hope for nothing but the best in his future.

He's just as quick as the Honey Badger ain't he? Learn to tackle and he could play safety.

With NIL i wonder if he comes back in 2025? Id imagine theyd have to promise to use him in a different role where you can actually tell he is on the field not getting stuffed up at the LOS

this injury was caused by the NCAA!! If HP was allo0wed to go into this tackle with a facemask first tackle (which is you ever played, this is how you were taught to tackle) and was able to wrap up, this injury would have never happened. Instead, he had to lower his shoulder and try to get lower than the receiver's helmet to avoid a penalty!! NCAA's fault. Let the boys play the game!!

He was put in the wrong position for the last 2 years, should be OLB. If I were him I would go to the portal LSU was not a good place for him.

Maybe he can return for his senior year and improve his draft position.
