Former LSU wide receiver Travin Dural, who signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent on May 1, says he is still waiting to catch a pass from star QB Drew Brees. Per WAFB.com:
quote:

Dural has played with LSU quarterbacks like Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings, who lost their starting jobs and wound up transferring to other schools.

He said he's excited about catching passes from a future Hall of Famer like Drew Brees, who has been a fixture in New Orleans for more than a decade.

"I haven't had a chance to catch a pass from him, yet," Dural said. "Just watching the things he does and how he handles himself ... you know, it's great."

Drew is too busy opening jimmy johns and walk ons to worry about shite like football.

You're right. The future hall of gamer known for his work ethic and laser focus totally doesn't worry about football. Probably the farthest thing from his mind as he breaks records and cement his status as an all time great.

I sincerely hope Payton utilizes Dural's talent. He can get open, catch, and block very well. We need another receiver on the team. Why not Dural? Really would love to see him succeed with the Saints!

"I sincerely hope Payton utilizes Dural's talent. He can get open, catch, and block very well. ". Really? From what I've seen he does none of those things consistently well. Hate to say it but he's the most overrated receiver in LSU history.

Sean Payton trying to keep LSU fans off his doorstep. SP isn't serious about TDs playing time here and doesn't care who it offends. Payton and Loomis need to geaux. Saints need a Louisiana guy .... or Les Freakin' Miles.

Yeah shitty of Payton to draft him just to keep him from getting playing time with another franchise. Oh wait... it was essentially a non binding tryout opportunity that Dural accepted. Nvm

Wait until the Saints start 4-8 and we need to ruin our draft position and get Brees over 5,000 yards. That's when Drew gets serious and starts lighting it up.

He should stop running deep routes then.

If Payton can harness Dural's speed and teach him to run more precise routes, which Miles could not care less about, he could be the steal of the year

I think Dural's hamstring injury robbed him of some of his speed. Hopefully he can get some of it back.

Blaming Miles for Dural's hamstrings. Classic TD.
