But no, I don't think this is wrong and whether or not she was hired simply because she was a woman, I still hope she does well and proves she's earned it. I just find it amusing just how angry some of you are getting over a training camp/preseason intern. Had she been named linebacker coach I agree that would be wrong considering she could have never played the position. And of course the media is going to cover it---it's unusual-hell, it's never happened before.

She has more coaching chops than literally any of the people who are complaining about it. She was a semi-pro ballplayer and professional coach in men and women's arena leagues. She has a master's in Sports Psychology and PhD in Psychology. If there is anyone who is an expert on how athletes think and what motivates them (you know... the things coaches are supposed to know), it's her.


Also, if the players don't have a problem with her being an INTERN coach, none of you jacklegs should.
