It's pretty sad that Adidas uses poor English in an official twitter.

That's not Adidas talking to him. Just some dude in his neighborhood with an Adidas Twitter. Come on you believe that? Do you believe I just jumped out a plane 2 mins ago now I'm streaming the net?

Why does that have to be sad. Damn lighten your life up. People really let trivial stuff bother them.

Totally agree, sounds scripted. Nice way to gain publicity.

So why does Addidas talk like an urban youth?

Because the “Get off my lawn!” crowd does little for their bottom line.

Donte must be clocking himself close to or beating 4.21 in practice to be that cocky. If not, welp...

Obviously staged, but Im not mad at him. I doubt he gets the record, but go get that money Donte!

If Trindon couldn’t do it I don’t think Donte can.

Does anybody think he can break the record? He's fast, but is he that fast?
user avatar
Lsu10120599 months
He is fast enough to do it, but it takes more than speed when we are talking about the 40 record. Everything has to be perfect from start to finish. On top of having to be extremely fast.

He’s fast but not 4.22 fast. I think he’ll run between 4.28-4.21

Hope he breaks it but it will be razor thin close

CDawson you beat me to it. If it is something an athlete can train and condition to do, Trindon was the first name to pop up in my head. How many attempts do they get?

It was surprise the hell out of me if he broke this record. Not because he can't do it, but bc it would be the most focus this guy has put on any one thing since coming to LSU. He can do it though, I just have to see it to believe it.

Most people are more focused when the reward is potentially a multi million dollar contract.
