Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports
Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports released an updated first-round NFL mock draft and predicts that two LSU Tigers will hear their names called early in the draft.

Wilson has LSU cornerback Greedy Williams going No. 4 overall to the Arizona Cardinals and linebacker Devin White selected with the No. 22 overall pick to the Oakland Raiders.
quote:

4. Arizona Cardinals
Greedy Williams, CB, LSU. Williams is the prototype for today's NFL cornerback -- rangy, long, fast -- and he'd pair nicely with Patrick Peterson as the Cardinals spend the offseason retooling their roster.

22. Oakland Raiders (via Dallas)
Devin White, LB, LSU. The Raiders got their quarterback but they also need a pass rusher and a wide receiver. But White is too good to pass up here. Mack Wilson might be the more polished linebacker but White is arguably more explosive. Both have sideline-to-sideline speed and the athleticism to handle the demands of the position in today's NFL but White is more of a thumper.
Williams has already announced that he has declared for the NFL Draft and will skip the Fiesta Bowl. White has not made a public decision about his draft status but did announce that he will play in the bowl game.

If the Raiders are the prediction, what better motivation to come back for senior year!

Hopefully Devin comes back if he's projected 22nd

22nd? Come back, he should not settle for anything less than top 5.

It's not really his decision though, is it?

#1 he won’t last that long (he’s gone) #2 he will improve his draft stock after pro day and/or combine

Dallas doesn’t need a linebacker nor do they have that pick anyways

I have a better chance at going at 22 than Devin White does. Top 10 lock.

the funniest part is it saying Mack Wilson is more polished than DW...There is no way this is remotely true...DW as a freshman was more polished than Mack Wilson is now

Devin falling to #22 would be further indicator that 'offense wins championships' in today's NFL

Hell yeah. Keep projecting him late first round. MIGHT convince him to stay another year.

NFL drafts based on needs.

It's not so much about who's better with the NFL draft. It's more about the team needs.

Linebackers, Safeties and TEs are all relatively undervalued in the draft. Doesn't mean there are better football players - it's just that a Top 10 or 15 pick is usually spent on a QB, OT, CB or, maybe, a DE. If you want a linebacker or safety and have a high first round pick, the economics of it means you usually trade down (and you'll still be able to get a high value guy in the back half of the first round).

IF Devin declares for this draft I believe he will go to the 49s high in the draft. Remember 49ers just lost their rookie Foster to DV charges....

Good, we need more projections to come out that show Devin White late in the first round so that he comes back to be a top 5 pick

last year's 22nd pick got a signing bonus of $6.6 million, and a total contract of $11.7 million. He gone.
