Belhaven Coach Hal Mumme On Ed Orgeron: "I've Turned Him In To The NCAA"

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Belhaven coach Hal Mumme was very critical of LSU's Ed Orgeron after two of his Louisiana satellite camps involving Texas, Houston, and Cornell were canceled.

Mumme claims that Orgeron is the reason that the camps were canceled and called him "paranoid."

On Thursday during a radio interview with 99.1 The Game in Birmingham, AL, Mumme talked more about Orgeron and said that he "turned him in to the NCAA."

This. He's mad that he can't go into a talent rich state and make HIS football team better. Period. Every coach that I ever played for or met who disguised their blind rage at the world and their failures as somehow "caring for the kids" was a fricking nutcase and had a profoundly negative impact on kids' lives. If he cares about the kids so much then he needs to get off his lazy arse this season and make it out to games in LA and give every kid who contacts him a legitimate look.

I love Coach "O's" passion but this is getting ridiculous. This is like keeping your wife from leaving the house because you are afraid other men will "hit" on her. Most of the kids who will benefit the most from these camps will never get an LSU offer anyway.

It's more like letting a guy take your wife to a 1 on 1 dinner knowing that he's going to spend the entire time shitting on you and trying to explain how much better her life would be if she fricked him no matter how much he had to lie to get her there. Recruiting is dirty. No head coach needs to trade elite players for the sake of impressing dipshits like you who want to look "rational". If Strong and Herman had been a bit more protective and proactive then we wouldn't be raiding Texas for half of their elite players every season.

lmao. Is this even against any NCAA rules? I'm not even sure what he's reporting him on but I don't think it's against NCAA rules not to lube up and leave the butt hurt on other schools. What's he going to prove? Coach O is influencing the state to cancel? Is that even against the rules? Good luck proving it if it is in this state.
