Former LSU players Arden Key, D.J. Chark, and Donte Jackson had the following reactions on Twitter to not being selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Donte and Arden combined are like the football version of Tiger cancer aka Ben Simmons. Glad to get rid of them both and would be hard pressed to see either write a term paper that I would pass. Bye

Y’all need to let the Ben Simmons crap go. You’d think seeing the difference between CJJ and CWW this year would at least buy Simmons some damn doubt.

Key should have "bet" on getting his arse in shape for football season instead of toking it up and playing Xbox, then he wouldn't be in this situation to begin with.

LSU having any 1st rounders this year was a reach, especially after Guice shot his foot so far in his mouth his toes tickled his a-hole

Exactly what did Guice say to do that? I know Key sure AF did, but what about Guice?

SoulGlo the reason he is getting passed is because he told the media that teams were asking him if he was gay and other stuff like that. The media made a thing about the NFL asking questions like that and the NFL is taking it out on Guice a little. He still gonnna get in, the league is just taking it out on his pocket.

Donte Jackson really thought he was gonna go first round? Hahahahaha

He and Key both really could have used one more year. This disappointing draft might actually be a blessing in disguise. "Not everybody needs to run off the second they hit eligible!"

Some NFL team is going to get one of the best backs in the country at a discount rate and steal in the draft. It’s unfortunate how politics work in business. Hopefully Guice makes 31 teams regret and 1 team pay. Guice has always been a great person. Too bad people overlooked his true personality and character.

I know him through a friend of mine and he really is a quality guy with a good heart, just immature in the sense of that he thinks the world revolves around him.

Drops against bama may knock chark to the sixth round, if that. He pretty much blew it. If he catches TDs and torches bama, he's the first receiver taken over Ridley and Moore.

Yea because thats what NFL scouts are looking at. You and Key should hangout and write your thoughts in a journal for publishing

Arden Key just can't help himself. His agent just must not give a shite anymore

I get the impression he just doesn’t want to play anymore, but he has to make a living somehow.

I consider myself a pretty level-headed football fan (oxymoron, I know), but a lot of teams are going to regret passing on Guice regardless of the lack of value of the running back position considered in the NFL. He will be an all-timer. And LOL at anyone who snarks at his personality and character. Guice is Marshawn Lynch minus the negative attitude and divisiveness.

Totally agree. It's a weird world when a guy like Guice is considered a character risk but Baker Mayfield is the first overall pick.

Mayfield < Manziel

Again, do you guys know guice? I’ve never met him but I do know he had a tough childhood and was going to get a lot of questions about it. I know if I had to hear people talk shite about my family I’d snap. Everyone has their breaking point

Chark is the only one I want to see go in the 2nd round. Guice, Key, and Jackson are starting to wear thin
Reply67 months

Agreed. Pretty over Key and Jackson at this point. Move along and next man up for the tigers

user avatar
Guice? What has Guice done specifically to "wear thin" on you or anyone? Do you mean the BS reports floated through talking heads by an undisclosed butthurt NFL team?

Guice is one of the highest character players to ever come through LSU, so I don’t see what your issue could be with him. He’s also top ten talent.
