Coach O: How many football guys do you have competing in track!
Me: Most of them!

Next go to North Shore HS. Whatever Duncanville has North Shore stopped the last two years.

North Shore did give us K'Lavon Chaisson. They also gave us the recruiting headache that is Zach Evans.

Interesting that Coach O out recruiting everywhere right now...that tells me either he has a DC in mind already or just taking his time, not going to rush the decision...

It's not just the fast guys that you want. A lineman that does the throws is typically very athletic and it helps allot with their hands and footwork.

Can they defensively coordinate?

Derek Stingley Jr is an insane talent in part because he opted to NOT run track. My son decided to forego track because of Stingley. Hips get locked in from the track training. Stingley could have been a monster on the track, but gave it up for the ability to make that pick against Auburn. Hip dexterity matters.

One of the greatest athletes and cornerbacks to ever play the game (prime) was a multi sport athlete (track being 1);running track doesn't hinder your lateral movement especially if your being coached properly

Darrell Green, Deion Sanders, Marshon Lattimore, Champ Bailey, Mike Haynes (Raiders) were all track athletes in high school and beyond. It’s didn’t hurt them at all.
