Four-star defensive back and Baton Rouge native Major Burns announced his top seven schools on Monday night and included LSU.

His top schools are Florida, LSU, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

Burns, a 6-2, 180-pound prospect from Madison Prep Academy was originally committed to the Aggies but reopened his recruitment in March.

He rated the No. 17 safety in the country and the No. 7 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports.

A top 7 list? These kids are loony. Just do a top 3. This is the Kardashian’s fault.

Kid's nowadays be like...."100% Committed to my dream school since I was a child!" Few weeks later..."after careful consideration I've decided to decommit, respect the decision" (100% emoji followed by a few praying hands emoji)! 2 days later..."my new Top 47!"

From “committed” to a school to a top 7? Holy moly this kid doesn’t get near enough attention at home.

Top 7, eh? If he was smart, he would get on board rather quickly, or else risk not making LSU's top 7.

Now that’s what I call a Major Burn.

He needs to go to UT where he'll start as a freshman instead of waiting to play 2nd string as a junior at LSU. Do not want.

Solid chance he commits to OU this weekend at their spring game.

And then decommits a week later when shown another shiny object.
