Hawaii wide receiver Jackson Harris committed to LSU out of the transfer portal on Sunday following his visit to Baton Rouge.

Harris just wrapped up his redshirt sophomore season, catching 49 passes for 963 yards and 12 touchdowns.

The 6-3, 190-pounder from Berkeley, Calif., spent his first two seasons at Stanford.

The portal giveth and the portal taketh away. It is definitely a bad feeling when you lose a player that you expected the income back but I can't deny that it's fun getting fresh blood.

I miss the days when LSU was predominantly Louisiana talent. But good luck to this guy. Geaux Tigers

With Trey'Dez returning and adding this young man, this seems to be a good start to rebuilding the receiver group.

I trust in Lane to recognize offensive talent. Anyone criticizing this is just feeling compelled to bitch and moan.

Great but we need blockers. Otherwise, skill players are obsolete and another long, frustrating season will ensue. I trust that CLK is on it.
