I sure hope the guy replacing him is of equal or better talent. Good luck to all of these future star athletes in their pursuit of College FB and maybe beyond

So people really think we are "processing" four star defensive linemen?

Wow, I hope we're not pulling more Travis Etienne's here....these "bigger fish" need to be told that they need to commit now or not have room later. Once we tell these guys who have already committed that we're cutting their offer and the "bigger fish" fall through down the road, we won't be able to get these people back who have committed early but have been dissed. Why can't these "better" recruits sign early and not hold teams hostage until signing day???

I’m really not sure why you’re bringing up Etienne, he was never committed to LSU. Les never offered him.
You should trust our coaching staff, the staff that is responsible for the #1 team in the country, to determine who we should sign. They wouldn’t tell players to decommit if they didn’t have better players ready to sign.

And exactly who would Etienne have put on the bench? Guice? Clyde? We had plenty of RBs. That was never a position LSU struggled with and truthfully Etienne was never committed to LSU and was looking to go out of state from the start.

It would be hard to love LSU if you’re a local kid dreaming to play at LSU, get offered, accept, then get told this late in the game to look elsewhere. The parent in me hates it for these kids but the tiger fan in me gets excited when 4 stars get processed

It was time to tell a couple of them they need to look elsewhere for a couple positions of need or want to help for next season.

Weren't you just on the recruiting board asking why we were getting rid of him? Lol

I was asking why the others couldn’t just commit and fill there space. I didn’t act like I didn’t know what was happening.

I'll try to help here, they wanted to play for Lsu and we're told they couldn't. How does that prove they have no chest?
