Four-Star QB Myles Brennan Tweets Out Update On His Decision
by Staff Reporter
November 30, 201640 Comments
LSU quarterback commit Myles Brennan sent out a tweet late Wednesday afternoon to clear the air about his decision to open up his recruitment.
Earlier on Wednesday around 12:45pm CT, Brennan sent out the following tweet informing everyone that he has reopened his recruitment.
Many people saw Brennan's tweet and thought it was his announcement to decommit. But that wasn't the case, as he provided this update for everyone at 4:51pm:
Brennan's decision comes just one day after LSU offered five-star dual-threat quarterback Tua Tagovailoa who is currently committed to Alabama.
New head coach Ed Orgeron said at his press conference on Saturday that he wants to run a spread offense with a dual-threat quarterback which could be a concern for Brennan who is a pro-style passer.
Brennan is the No. 4 pro-style quarterback in the country, and the No. 5 overall player from Mississippi for 2017, according to ESPN. He has been committed to LSU since late April.
