Four-star cornerback Daylen Austin from Long Beach, Calif. announced his commitment to LSU on Monday afternoon.

The 6-1, 180-pound prospect is rated the No. 16 cornerback in the class of 2023, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He gave his silent commitment to the coaching staff during a visit in April and finally decided to go public with his decision. Per 247Sports:
quote:

“I gave the coaches my commitment on that trip,” Austin said. “I wasn’t sure when I would go public with it but the timing felt right to do it now.

“LSU was home, I got that family vibe right away and knew that’s where I wanted to be. I love everything about the school and can’t imagine a better all around fit.”
Austin is LSU's 6th verbal commit for the class of 2023.

Well UCLA whooped that arse last year so it’s probably a good idea to start recruiting some Cali soy boys.

Baw runs a 4.45 as a HS Jr. He will be really fast by his Sr. year at the Combine.
