Stephen Lew-USA TODAY Sports
Elite five-star LSU wide receiver commit Dakorien Moore announced Monday that he has narrowed his focus to LSU, Texas, Ohio State, and Oregon and will be shutting down his communication with other schools.

The Duncanville, Texas, native committed to LSU in August of 2023. He is the country's consensus No. 1 wide receiver for 2025 and the No. 1 player from Texas.

Moore is one of a trio of five-star commitments in LSU's 2025 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 1 in the country. While the Tigers are the favorite to sign Moore, Texas will likely be LSU's biggest competition as his recruitment progresses.

Gordon's check must need some more digits to the left of the decimal.

Why is he committed to LSU but still talking about other schools? Since when did the term committed mean something other than committed?

so he's not actually committed

I didn’t see Underwood doing this shite and I like the hell outta that. This, not so much. Dakorian will get exactly the same love that he puts forth in the long run.

A commitment without his signature is a verbal commitment but the young man wants to enjoy the process so hole on for long period before NSD

It’s not a commitment of any kind if he’s still trying to decide what school he’s going to. Like, by definition it can’t be.

I’ve said this before- they need to start using a different word because ‘commit’ is surely not the right one

What kind of shite is this? How you committed but then say he’s narrowed it down to 4 schools?

Recruiting has become nothing but a circus

Everybody settle down. He is committed to us, and we will hold on to that tiger. He is leaving the other three schools in his final four to continue receiving expensive gifts for his friends and family, but at the end of the day he is committed to us.

If he were just trying "to continue receiving expensive gifts for his friend and family", then there would have been no reason for him to "commit" to one school, our school.

Or they could pay attention in the free classes they’re getting, and try to get a degree. If you have LSU football player on your resume, ppl will take care of you in Louisiana in life after football.

Them thinking football is their “only chance to cash in” is exactly what jrobic says, poverty mentality.
