Multiple sources report that the LSU Men's Basketball team has declined an invitation to play in the NIT this postseason.

The Tigers finish the 2024-2025 season with a 14-18 record.

That is why the LSU men are bad they won't even play in the NIT. The NIT would give them extra practices and games to play. They may some day be able to go to the NCAA, but not now. I guess they think it is OK to be bad.

AD Woodward has an overall great athletic program BUT he is a complete failure because this basketball team sucks & the head coach sucks. Meanwhile Will Wade is in the Big Dance.

I mean he has baseball and women’s basketball that are in great shape. Basketball is terrible and football is mediocre.
