The depth on this team is night and day from last year. Wade had a great rotation going. I think we played 9 guys just in the 1st half.

Been a while since I've seen an LSU team just physically manhandle an overmatched opponent in the PMAC. Reid and KB Williams are going to be fun to watch.

E Williams is a passionate player. Not surprising he had 10 rebounds as he was really getting after it. The points will follow as he grows more comfortable.

Taylor coming off the bench was a pleasant surprise.

Defense was tenacious most of the night as you would expect with a few breakdowns. Kind of expected with so many freshman on the floor and it being game 1.

Would have liked to see us rebound better. When Southeastern was actually trying, they often flew in to grab boards where we weren't boxing out. Midway through the 2nd half, rebounds were like 23-22. Should expect better with our size advantage.

But yeah, fun first game. Granted against a crappy opponent. UNC-Green made the tourney last year and Memphis is def better than Southeastern, so we'll see how the next 2 games go.

That's actually who I meant to say. My brain was thinking Taylor, but I typed Days for whatever reason.

But Days looked solid as well

Tbey looked bad arse. I have never seen so much depth at LSU. Days and Williams are interchabgeable. March is a lock.

There's only one non-conference game I can think of where we absolutely dominated last year though. Sure we're supposed to win but absolute dominance even early season looks great

Didn't have a chance to watch or listen. How did the defense look?

very good, much better on getting past screens and rebounding. Naz, Javontae, and both Williams are ballers!

Days surprised me as well.

I thought he was just a shooter coming in but he was fighting hard for rebounds and was much thicker than I realized.

I really can’t believe how deep we are. We went 9 deep with little to no drop off in talent.

That white kid that came of the bench and scored over 20 in 6 minutes was super fun to watch, even the LSU crowd cheered for him after his scoring frenzy. It was only fun because the game was so out of reach. Tiger Bball comin!
