LSU Earns Road Win At Florida, 64-58

Per LSUSports.net: GAINESVILLE, FLA. – No. 12 LSU improves to 15-1 after defeating the Florida Gators, 64-58, Wednesday night at the O’Connell Center.
LSU was led by senior Darius Days, who had an efficient 20 points on 9/14 shooting. Eric Gaines, who got the start due to Xavier Pinson’s injury, had 15 points and Brandon Murray had 10 points. LSU was in foul trouble most of the night with big men Tari Eason and Efton Reid fouling out. Shareef O’Neal made his season debut and impacted the game immediately with four points, four boards, and one block.
Florida was led by Colin Castleton who had 19 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks. Phlandrous Fleming Jr. was second in points with 11. The Gators doubled LSU in free throw attempts, with Florida shooting 22 FT’s to LSU’s 11.
